RUGBY LEAGUE WORLD CUP AVAILABLE LIVE TO AUDIENCES IN UNITED STATES AND CANADA

TENAFLY, NJ (September 29, 2022) – The Rugby League World Cup will be available in the USA and Canada live on Cable, Satellite and Digital Pay Per View via iN Demand, DIRECTV, DISH, Shaw, Rogers, PPV.com, and FITE. Select non-PPV men’s matches will also air live on
FITE+ subscription services, where all the women’s matches will also air live. RLWC in North America is being distributed by Integrated Sports Media, via an agreement with RDA, the global media rights distributor RLWC2021.

Re-scheduled due to COVID-19, the Rugby League World Cup (RLWC2021) will now take place this coming October 15 through November 19.

It is the pinnacle major event of the rugby league, globally contested every four years, and RLWC2021 will be a breakthrough moment in the tournament’s history with the men’s, women’s and wheelchair competitions being staged together for the first time.

The rugby action will take place across 21 venues throughout England. Both the women’s and wheelchair competitions will be contested by two groups of four teams, while the men’s tournament will feature 16 teams competing across four groups.
